Jennifer S. Abell is the Director of the [[March of Dimes for Southern Maryland]] and a long-term resident of Charles County. She is a member of the New Life Wesleyan Church, [[La Plata Kiwanis Club]], [[Charles County Chamber of Commerce]], [[Charles County Commission for Women]] and [[Partnerships for a Healthier Charles County]] and the Fetal Infant Mortality Review Board. She is also president and treasurer for the [[Indian Head Swim Team]] and a youth leader at New Life. Mrs. Abell lives in [[La Plata, Maryland]] with her husband and four children. She was first appointed in 2004, and elected in November 2006.
