Candice Quinn Kelly was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, and relocated to Charles County in 1988. Ms. Kelly graduated from the Institute of Notre Dame High School, in Baltimore, and attended Trinity College in Washington, D.C. In addition to being a wife and mother of three, Ms. Kelly is the President and CEO of Maredith Management, LLC, AAMC, a management firm located in Waldorf, Maryland.

She served on the Charles County Economic Development Commission through July of 2004. She is a member of the Charles County Chapter of Zonta, which is an organization for business women, and President for 2005-6. She has been a Licensed Real Estate Agent and a member of the Southern Maryland Association of Realtors, as well as a member of the Following organizations: Charles County Chamber of Commerce, Port Tobacco River Conservancy, National Association of Home Builders, Charles County Republican Central Committee, League of Women Voters, Charles County Board of the Department of Social Services, Charles County Human Services Council, Charles County Kiwanis, Charles County VITAL, Community Associations Institute, and the Archbishop Neale School Board.

Ms. Kelly served as the Executive Director of the Angels Watch Homeless Shelter for Women and Children. She secured funding through the county to establish a Domestic Violence Wing which became the first, and only safe house in Charles County, and was recognized with the Governor’s Victim Assistance Award.

She also served as the Executive Director of Southern Maryland Area Self Help (SMASH), and spearheaded a successful campaign to shut down an open-air drug market in Malcolm and successfully advocated for affordable housing and a low interest indoor plumbing loan program.
