The '''College of Southern Maryland (CSM)''' (formerly Charles County Community College), headquartered in [[La Plata, Maryland]], is a public, regional community college, which serves southern Maryland through its campuses and training centers in [[Charles County, Maryland|Charles County]], [[St. Mary's County, Maryland|St. Mary's County]], and [[Calvert County, Maryland|Calvert County]].
The [[College of Southern Maryland Foundation]] was established to raise funds to support the college.

In 1980, the Community College at Calvert County was established, which later moved to its current location with its current building on J.W. The men's teams include baseball, basketball, golf, soccer and tennis.
